Church Doctrine and Discipline of Redeemed Calvary Church
"Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers." — Titus 1:9 (KJV)
Preamble
Redeemed Calvary Church is established upon the unchanging Word of God, dedicated to upholding the doctrine and discipline as set forth in the Holy Scriptures.
We affirm that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18), and all teaching, worship, and governance must align with the Word of God.
Our mission is to glorify God, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple believers, and remain steadfast in faith, holiness, and love.
Article I: Doctrine
1. The Authority of Scripture
We believe that the Bible, in its entirety, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is our final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2. The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19).
3. Salvation Through Christ Alone
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who shed His blood for the remission of sins (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
4. Holiness and Sanctification
We believe in a life of holiness, set apart unto God (1 Peter 1:15-16; Hebrews 12:14). Sanctification is both an instantaneous act through salvation and an ongoing process through the work of the Holy Spirit.
5. The Church and Its Mission
The Church is the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23), called to preach the gospel, disciple nations, and uphold truth in a fallen world (Matthew 28:19-20).
6. The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the righteous, and eternal life with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; John 14:3).
